My wife and I had to go off the radar for a week.  This is Yakushima, a small island about two hours by ferry from the southern  tip of Kyushu (last big island island in west Japan).  More soon.

    I'm jealous of how far you live from a major metropolis. Two hours out from Tokyo just puts you in the middle of tourist trap areas.
